A very successful 2017 season has ended for the team. They competed first at the San Diego Regional, making it to elimination matches and winning the Excellence in Engineering award. The team then attended the Ventura Regional, closer to home. This was one of their best competitions yet, and their alliance made it all the way to the final match, receiving second place. Their performance won them a second Excellence in Engineering award, as well as a wildcard to send them to Houston for World Championships. At Houston, the team was able to go farther than the previous year, making it all the way to semifinals in the Hopper Division. Out of all FRC teams, the team placed 101st.
